Nina Kretzmer Seed is a Program Manager at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, where she is responsible for implementation of programming in the New York metropolitan area. She also manages national program operations and serves as an Editorial Associate for Sources: A Journal of Jewish Ideas.
Previously at Hartman, Nina served as the Program Coordinator for the Washington, DC region and for Rabbinic Programs. She participated in the editing of the Foundations for a Thoughtful Judaism curriculum. She also was a member the Hitkansut North America Design Team, helping to edit its Hitkansut Haggadah and administering its publication as a resource for the commemoration of the Shoah.
As a Jim Joseph Fellow, Nina earned two Master’s degrees through the Dual Master’s Program in Jewish Education at New York University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Jewish Theological Seminary and from Barnard College. She has studied at Yeshivat Hadar as a Summer Fellow.
Nina lives in Riverdale, NY with her husband and daughter.
