Nina Kretzmer Seed is a Program Associate at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, where her role focuses on programmatic support for the Washington, DC region, sources and editorial projects, and general administrative and operations support for the organization.

As a Jim Joseph Fellow, Nina earned two Master’s degrees through the Dual Master’s Program in Jewish Education at New York University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Talmud and Rabbinics from the Jewish Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s degree in French Translation and Literature from Barnard College. She has also studied at Yeshivat Hadar as a Summer Fellow.

Nina most recently taught fifth grade at Magen David Yeshivah Elementary School. She has also served as a research assistant to Rabbi Dr. Neil Gillman z”l, Rabbi Dr. Shai Held, and Rabbi Dr. Yitz Greenberg. She lives in Riverdale, NY with her husband and daughter.
