1. Preamble
   • The following terms constitute compulsory terms of use on the site of Shalom Hartman Institute, which is identified on the Internet as: hartman.org.il (hereinafter: “the Site”) owned by the Shalom Hartman Institute (hereinafter: the Site Owners”) and all rights, of any type and sort, including all content and details therein, as is from time to time, belong to the site owners only, subject to that stated above.
   • The issue of the content and information in the site is subject to the terms of use as detailed below. Read these terms carefully and clearly as the initial use of the site constitutes an agreement and confirmation by the user to these terms in full and without any restriction.
   • For the avoidance of doubt, using the site and the data pages included therein, constitute the user’s agreement to all the terms of use, even if the user did not read and/or did not consider the terms of use. The terms of use relate to the entire site, its various pages and any information contained therein.
   • The terms of use on the site are intended for males and females alike, and have been worded in the masculine for reasons of convenience only.
2. Liability
   • The content, information and services on the site are available for use as-is, according to the decision of the site owners, and the user will not have any claim and/or demand and/or argument towards the site owners regarding the content, information and services on the site, including their abilities, limitations and adaptation to the user’s needs.
   • The use of information and content displayed on the site and the site’s services are at the user’s sole and full responsibility. The site owners, or anyone on their behalf, will not bear any responsibility regarding the information on the site – their content and/or reliability and/or precision and/or credibility, and they will not be responsible for any damage, loss, loss of profit, inconvenience, payment, expense, and any other direct or indirect result, caused to the user or any third party due to the use of the information or content displayed on the site.
   • The user is aware of the fact that all information and content displayed on the site are not necessarily exhaustive and comprehensive.
   • The user is aware of the fact that the use of the site does not relieve him from checking and verifying all relevant data and information.
   • The user is aware of the fact that all data displayed on the site does not constitute professional advice and/or recommendation and/or approval of the site owners and the site owners will not be responsible for this content and/or direct or indirect results, which might be caused to the user or to any third party due to any action based on this content.
   • The site owners are not responsible in any case and the method of use of information on the site.
   • In addition, the site owners will not bear responsibility for any errors and/or mistakes in information displayed on the site and the user only will bear full responsibility for any use made of the site.
   • Without prejudice to that stated above, the site owners are not responsible for any direct or indirect damage, caused to the user as a result of the use of, or reliance on, data and content displayed on the site.
   • Recommendations for events and content are displayed on the site. It is hereby clarified that the information in these descriptions is general.
   • It is hereby clarified that, by using the site, the user accepts full, sole and total responsibility for any result of his use on the site, and the actual use constitutes a final, complete and total waiver on his behalf to any right and/or claim and/or argument towards the site owners and anyone on their behalf, including directors and/or employees and/or consultants and/or insurers, in this regard, and he hereby undertakes in an irrevocable undertaking to compensate and/or indemnify the site owners and anyone on their behalf, including directors and/or employees and/or consultants and/or insurers, for any amount they are required to pay to any entity and/or person and/or authority and/or institution and/or organization for the user’s use of the site and/or as a result, without limitation of amount and time.
3. Intellectual Property and Copyrights
   • The intellectual property and copyrights on the site and services belong to the site owners. This includes, without limitation of generality to that stated above, the site owners are the sole owners of the site’s names and trademarks, patents, both registered and non-registered, commercial secrets involved in running the site and in providing services, designing the site, the technological information involved in running the site, including, but without detracting from the generality of the aforesaid, software, applications, graphic and other files, computer codes, texts and/or any other content contained therein.
   • It is absolutely forbidden to copy, distribute, transmit, provide to a third party, display in public, advertise, duplicate the issue of the license, create derivatives, sell or rent, etc., the information displayed on the site, or part thereof, both by the user or via or together with a third party, in any way and/or manner, including using electronic, mechanical, technical or optic means, photographic or recording means, or by any other manner, without the prior consent of the site owners in writing.
   • Without prejudice to the generality of the aforesaid, it is forbidden to operate and/or enable the operation of any measure to copy and/or recall any content, of any type and sort, from the site or for the purpose of displaying them in any other location, without the prior consent of the site owners in writing.
4. Links from the Site
   • This site contains links to other sites. The following instructions apply also to the use of those links, and they will not detract from the other terms of use.
   • For the avoidance of doubt, the links are displayed for the user’s convenience only and the site owners are not responsible for the content of these sites, their reliability or credibility. Entering these sites, as stated above, and the use of the content there is under the final, complete and total responsibility of the user only. The location of a link to a certain site does not constitute confirmation that the information on that site is correct, reliable, true, full or updated.
   • Links to third party sites must not be given a legal seal, approval, recommendation or preference by the site owners to those sites, including to the documents, information or any other material located there, or preference to the site operators or products and services displayed there.
   • The site owners will not bear responsibility for any damage, loss, expense, profit loss caused to the user or to any third party as a direct or indirect result of the use of the links on the site.
   • The site will not bear any responsibility for damage caused as a result of links to content from the site and/or for the presentation or publication of this content, as stated above, in any other manner.
5. Termination, Intermission and Amendments
   • The site owners do not undertake that the services will not be terminated, provided without any breaks, will be secure and without errors, and will be resistant to any unlicensed access to the site’s computers or to damage, breakdown, fault or failure of the hardware, software, lines and communications systems, on the site, or any of its suppliers and/or anyone on its behalf.
   • The provision of the site’s services is dependent, among others, on third parties, and the site owners are not responsible for any act and/or omission of any third party and will not be responsible for any damage and/or loss and/or profit loss and/or expense caused to the user and/or any third party as a result of, or in regard to, any act and/or omission, as stated above.
   • Any use and reliance by the user on any content, information and services, displayed and/or advertised on the site and/or on any of its services are done at the sole discretion of the user and at his full, sole and final responsibility.
   • The site is permitted to remove content, at its sole discretion without needing to notify the users of this.
6. Miscellaneous
   • The laws applying to these regulations are the laws of the State of Israel and the unique and sole legal jurisdiction regarding these regulations is given only to the authorized courts in the city of Jerusalem (and the parties explicitly revoke the local authority of other courts in Israel or anywhere else in the world).
   • The site owners are permitted to amend and/or change the terms of these regulations, all or part thereof, and the amendment will become valid immediately after their publication on the site. The valid regulations are those published on the site at the time of use of services by the user.
