Meaning + Milestones: Spring Days of Learning

Two days of global learning, ritual, commemoration, and celebration

Two Days of Learning

Join us on April 7-8 and April 14-15 for two days of global learning, ritual and commemoration that reimagine and reflect on Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) and celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israeli Independence Day), both days of meaning and milestones in North America and Israel.

Gathering, Meaning, & Memory: New Rituals for Remembrance begins Wednesday, April 7 with a global Hitkansut ceremony and continues throughout the day on Thursday, April 8 with opportunities for text study, conversation, and reflection.

Home/Land: Celebrating Israel@73 explores historic and modern perspectives on the State of Israel as we celebrate Israel’s 73rd birthday on April 14-15.

We are grateful to the Lazlo N. Tauber Family Foundation for their partnership and support of the Hitkansut program.
