“Pittsburgh Chronicle Staff Writer Adam Reinherz was one of 13 Jewish journalists chosen to participate in the inaugural cohort of the Shalom Hartman Institute’s Seminar & Writers Workshop for Journalists. Reinherz was the only participant to come from a local Jewish news outlet.

The program, which spanned the 2021-2022 academic year, combined intensive study of the nature, challenges and possibilities of the Israel–Diaspora relationship with a two-week summer residency at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem.”
