
Jeremy Fineberg
Jeremy Fineberg received his rabbinical ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary in 2019. He earned his BA in International and Global Studies from Brandeis University and MA in Midrash from JTS. Jeremy grew up deeply involved in Conservative Judaism, helping his parents start a synagogue, participating in and staffing USY and Nativ, and spending 18 consecutive summers at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin. During rabbinical school, Jeremy worked in a variety of settings, including with formerly incarcerated individuals, college students, and young professionals. Jeremy currently serves as the Assistant Rabbi at Temple Emanu-El of Closter, NJ, where in addition to writing, teaching, and providing pastoral care, he is beginning the process of implementing a gender equity audit of the community.
