Ayalon Eliach is a Rabbinic Fellow of the David Hartman Center and Chief Ideas Officer at Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah, whose mission is to help people apply Jewish wisdom to thrive and shape a better world.

His scholarly interests center on Talmudic interpretation, medieval Jewish philosophy, Jewish theology, and Hasidic thought, with a particular passion for how these traditions illuminate the relationship between Jewish wisdom and lived experience. He is committed to making these conversations genuinely accessible and relevant not just to scholars and seasoned learners, but to anyone curious about what Jewish wisdom might offer them, regardless of their background with Jewish tradition. He works across classical sources in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Judeo-Arabic, and is passionate about bringing rigorous textual engagement to bear on contemporary questions.

He holds a BA, summa cum laude, from Yale University, a JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, and an MA in Jewish Studies and rabbinical ordination from Hebrew College. He was a fellow with the Dorot Fellowship in Israel and Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics.
