Angelica Berrie, Chair of the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, is President of The Russell Berrie Foundation, which has made transformational gifts to the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at Columbia University; the Russ Berrie Nanotechnology Institute at Technion University in Israel; and the Pope John Paul II Center for Inter-Religious Studies in St. Thomas Aquinas University at the Angelicum in Rome.
Angelica currently serves as Chairman of Shalom Hartman Institute North America, a center for transformative study and pluralistic thinking in Jerusalem. She Chairs the Board of the Center for Inter-Religious Understanding.
She has Co-Chaired the Jewish Funders Network and Ofanim, a nonprofit organization in Israel that delivers high-quality supplemental education on mobile classrooms to children in the periphery.
She is Chairman of Global Nomad, an experiential travel design company based in Hong Kong.
Most recently, Angelica co-authored a book on philanthropy with Peter Klein entitled: A Passion for Giving: Tools and Inspiration for Creating a Charitable Foundation.
