Aliza Sperling

Aliza Sperling is a Fellow of the Kogod Research Center at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, as well as a member of the inaugural Created Equal Senior Educators Fellowship.

She teaches Talmud at the Maharat-Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Beit Midrash Program and is director of HerTorah, an innovative women’s Torah study and community program in Washington DC. She also serves as a Wexner faculty member. Aliza received semicha from Yeshivat Maharat and a JD from New York University Law School.

Aliza lives with her husband and four children in Riverdale, NY.
