Ronit Irshai is a research fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem and Associate Professor and head of Gender Studies at Bar Ilan University, where she is a board member of the Reckman Women’s Rights Center and of Kolech, a religious feminist forum. She published a series of articles on halakhah, theology and gender, Jewish sexual ethics, and Jewish religious feminism.
