The Hartman Institute’s Melamdim School for Teacher Education graduated eight Jewish studies teachers after an intensive two-year training program. Click here to see a video of the graduation.
In partnership with the Jim Joseph Foundation, Melamdim provided these distinguished graduate students from Israel and North America with intensive training in the philosophical foundations of Judaism and the pedagogical skills required to turn high school Jewish education into a transformative experience.
Melamdim brings together distinguished graduate students who are committed to a teaching career in Jewish studies. In partnership with Tel Aviv University, Melamdim offers a Master of Arts in Jewish Thought, Bible or Rabbinics.
