Sophie Lainer (she/her) is the Executive Assistant to the CEO at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America. Sophie is originally from Los Angeles and a proud Ramah Ojai alumna. She received her B.S. in Psychology with an additional major in Jewish Studies from Tulane University in New Orleans.

Sophie previously served as the Engagement Associate at University of Wisconsin Hillel where she planned social, educational, and religious programs for the Jewish students in Madison.

In her spare time you can find Sophie hiking and camping with her wife, Savannah, and their dogs, Denver and Pico.
