Beit Midrash for Israeli Rabbis Fellow

Rivi Dror was born and raised in Tel Aviv in a modern orthodox religious and Zionist home. Has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in theater studies, and a teaching certificate in Torah. She has taught Jewish studies for more than a decade, at the Democratic School in Pardes Hana as well as at the Tal”i foundation. Today Rivi works as a rabbi in the Beit Tefilah Israeli community in Tel Aviv, and the Darchei Noam Conservative community in Pardes Hanah. Rivi seeks to create a lively and warm connection between Israeli society and Jewish tradition; and to create spaces of prayer that bring together different people who want the experience of a meaningful prayers. Rivi seeks to help and preserve the open and approachable spirit of Judaism, and wants to find a way in which the story of the Jewish people will continue to be alive and relevant to Israelis, Jews, and people around the world.
