In this video, recorded in Jerusalem at Rabbinic Torah Study Seminar in July 2018, Elana Stein Hain addresses the dynamics of objectification through the lens of a medieval midrash. In this midrash, objectification is addressed in three ways: through identity and relationships, through circumstances and structures, and through the composition of the midrash itself.
