Rabbanit Dr. Renana Ravitzky-Pilzer is the Director of the Beit Midrash for Israeli Rabbis – Rabbanut Yisraelit and a Research Fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute. She previously served as Educational Director of the Center for Jewish and Israeli Identity, Head of the Beit Midrash at the Midrashiya High School for Girls, and Co-Director of the Melamdim Program – a master’s degree program for training teachers of Jewish studies from Israel and the United States, in collaboration with the Shalom
