The summer of 2014 in Israel, which began with the kidnapping and murder of three teenaged Jewish Israelis, was followed by the murder of a Jerusalem Arab teen, and which has continued through the month with the shooting war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, was also when 400 North American, Israeli, and European rabbis, Jewish community leaders, and American Christian academics came to the Hartman Institute in Jerusalem to study in our summer programs, collectively titled, "A Time for War, A Time for Peace."

At least 10 rabbis and others who attended the programs have written commentaries and blogs for their hometown newspapers or synagogue blogs. Here is a list of their articles:
