On July 1, 2013, the Shalom Hartman Institute dedicated its Jerusalem campus in Honor of Robert P. Kogod , long-time Institute supporter and current Chair of the Shalom Hartman Institute Board of Directors . Speakers at the event included Rabbi Dr. Donniel Hartman , President of the Shalom Hartman Institute, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, and Mr. Kogod.

More than 300 attended the event, including the entire Kogod family, Insitute Board members, friends, rabbis and lay leaders attending summer programs at the Institute, and staff.
