How can we develop a richer and more tolerant discourse about Israel in our communities, rather than the current vitriol which pervades Jewish communal conversation? Join us for three public conversations addressing this question.
These conversations focus on the diverse images of Israel. Often what lies behind the disparate positions about Israel held by members of the Jewish community are different visions and aspirations of what Israel is and should be. These essential narratives and assumptions about the State of Israel can profoundly impact the way we think about current policy questions in Israel today. Examining these narratives will help us learn to speak across difference in a way that manifests idealism and mutual respect.
