The Ever-Present Torah: Continuous Revelation in Zohar and Hasidut

Session 1

Session 2

Melila Hellner-Eshed explores the meaning of Torah in Zohar and Hasidut. What is “Torah” in the language of the Zoharic mystics? Through poetry and mystical sources, we examine the ways in which our rich literary tradition understands Torah as a continuous present revelation, given every day at all times. What is the role of leaders in every generation to understand Torah as befits their time and place?

NOTE: This program was part of our Summer 2021 Virtual Rabbinic Torah Seminar,  Torah of Possibility for an Uncertain Future
