“Jewish Peoplehood: The Meaning of the Collective in Modern Jewish Life” lectures, seminars, will be available online in video and audio

The Summer 2011 Community Leadership Summer Retreat and Rabbinic Torah Study Seminar at the Institute’s campus in Jerusalem in July focused on the theme: “Jewish Peoplehood: The Meaning of the Collective in Modern Jewish Life.”
 
Nearly 20 of the sessions taught by SHI scholars and subject experts were recorded and will be made available online in video and audio formats, including the SHI Podcast on Apple’s iTunes.

The first session now available online is of a panel discussion featuring SHI fellows Tal Becker and Yossi Klein Halevi, both of the Engaging Israel Project. The title of their discussion was, " Israel: The Boundaries of Criticism ." Panel moderator was SHI’s Lauren Berkun. Click here or on the photo above to view the video.
