Rabbi Dr. Wendy Zierler is Sigmund Falk Professor of Modern Jewish Literature and Feminist Studies at HUC-JIR. She received a Ph.D in Comparative Literature from Princeton University, an MFA in Fiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and Rabbinic Ordination from Yeshivat Maharat. She is author and editor of several books, most recently Going Out with Knots: My Two Kaddish Years with Hebrew Poetry (forthcoming in 2025 from The Jewish Publication Society).
