/ America at 250

How does the successful experience of the last 250 years of Jewish life in America, and the wisdom of Jewish tradition, inform how we think about the challenges we face today and the possibilities for the next 250 years?

As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, the Hartman Beit Midrash for America at 250 creates a space for serious Jewish thinking about democracy, belonging, and responsibility in American life. Drawing on Jewish texts, ideas, and experience, the initiative explores how Jewish life in America can help us meet today’s civic challenges and imagine a shared future.
