Zachary Silver is Senior Donor Relations Associate at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem. Prior to joining the Shalom Hartman Institute, he served for 11 years as the school rabbi at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School in Deerfield, Illinois, where he also served on the administrative team, oversaw all aspects of Jewish life, and taught classes in the Jewish Studies department.

He completed an MBA at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and received rabbinic ordination and a master’s degree in Modern Jewish Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary. He studied at the University of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate degree, where he was awarded the President’s Award for Undergraduate Research.

He and his family live in Jerusalem.
