Yoav Friedman is the Director of Content, Communications, and Marketing at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem.

Yoav joined Hartman following a 17-year career as a journalist, occupying senior positions in the Israeli media landscape including Digital Director at Israel Hayom and Editor in Chief of the news site, nrg.

From 2006 – 2012 he worked at ynet, playing a pivotal role in founding the Judaism channel, initially as the Deputy Editor and subsequently as the Chief Editor.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Cinema from Tel Aviv University.

Yoav currently resides in Mezekrat Batia and is a proud father of three.
