Tessa Zitter is the Production Manager at Shalom Hartman Institute of North America. She is an avid writer, producer, and director for audio and film with audio credits including KALW programming for the Commonwealth Club of California, How to Talk About Death and Dying During a Pandemic on KQED, and Live From Mount Olympus from the Onassis Foundation. She is the Co-Founder and Executive Producer of the independent film company Full of Fruit Productions, through which she produced and directed the award-nominated short film, When We’re Thirty and other projects. She has also produced and consulted on documentaries with Reel Medicine Media.

Tessa graduated with honors from Wesleyan University and received a BA in Classical Civilizations and Archaeology. She has recently begun serving as the Hearst Editorial Fellow for the Commonwealth Club of California. She lives in Brooklyn and enjoys swing dancing and spending time with her cats.
