Asher

Maskilot Fellow

Tali Asher is a fellow in the fourth cohort of Maskilot. She is pursuing a PhD at the School of Cultural Studies at Tel Aviv University and a graduate of the School of Educational Leadership at the Mandel Institute. Her research focuses on the encounter with the book in the works of Haim Be’er, the effects of the act of reading on the inner reader in the text, and the place of the library in text and its existential meaning. Alongside her studies, she founded and runs the Tyutot Center at Kibbutzim College. Tali is a lecturer in the fields of education and literature, a writer, and a facilitator of reading and writing workshops. Tali works to develop the field of literary entrepreneurship and is a board member of the Beit Agnon and Ruah Tseira associations. Her book Grandmother Required was published by Zeltner Publishing House.
