
Shahar Fisher
Beit Midrash for Israeli Rabbis Fellow
Shahar Fisher is an activist and an educator, researcher, and lecturer on culture and philosophy. He teaches in informal educational institutes, pre-army academies, and cultural institutions such as Beit Avi-Chai. Shahar served as a “Ram” (educator) and educational director at Midreshet Hashiluv Natur. He was one of the founding members of Hitorerut B’Yerushalayim and currently serves as the editor of their platform. He holds a BA and MA from the Open University of Israel. He is currently writing a PhD in cultural studies at Tel Aviv University on contemporary French philosophy’s interpretation of the binding of Isaac.
