Adam Reinherz is a member of the inaugural cohort of the Hartman Seminar & Writers Workshop for Journalists and an award-winning journalist and staff writer at the Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle. His coverage has ranged from reporting on the safety of American students during the recent Israeli-Palestinian conflict to following up on fire, flooding and wreckage inside a local kosher supermarket. In the aftermath of the 2018 shooting at the Tree of Life building, Reinherz filed more than 100 related stories, including pieces on interfaith healing partnerships, the lingering effects of trauma, survivor profiles and President Donald Trump’s visit to Pittsburgh. Reinherz’s writing has also appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Iowa City Press-Citizen, Moment and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
