Oded Ron works as a researcher at the Israel Democracy Institute (IDI). Over the past few years, he has worked in different educational and community programs in Jerusalem involving children, youth, and adults to create social change. During Oded’s law studies, he became more aware and involved in human rights issues in Israel, while volunteering as an intern for MK Dov Khenin’s bureau. After completing his LLB, Oded clerked for ACRI, the Association for Civil Rights in Israel. Oded was an Emile Zola Fellow in the Takkanah LLM program. This in-depth study of human rights law strengthened Oded’s commitment to human rights issues and inspired him to dedicate his legal work and academic research to this goal.
