Michal Hartman is the Principal of the Midrashiya High School for Girls and Director of Schools Center at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem. She also teaches at the High School on a variety of different Jewish topics.
Formerly she was responsible for overseeing the fields of gender, social action and body-mind-consciousness, and coordinating the teachers’ Beit Midrash for both Hartman High Schools.
Michal has a BA in Biology and Israeli Thought from Hebrew University, and an MA in Gender Studies from Bar Ilan University. In addition, she is a graduate of the Hartman Beit Midrash for Israeli Rabbis.
She is currently pursuing her PhD in Political Science at Hebrew University on the question of loyalty to the State of Israel within the religious Zionist community.
