Michael Langer is a Jewish Studies educator at Frankel Jewish Academy, a non-denominational high school in the Metro Detroit area, where he develops and teaches classes on an array of topics, ranging from biblical Hebrew grammar to contemporary Jewish identity. He received his ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary and holds an MA in Jewish Thought from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies. He is passionate about making the timeless messages of the Jewish tradition relevant and exciting in the lives of contemporary American Jews. He used to have interests that included writing, cooking, and magic. Now he has a three year old daughter.
