Judith Talesnick
Judith Talesnick, Director or Professional Learning and Growth at The Jewish Education Project, collaborates with day school/yeshiva instructional leaders to create or refine the educational vision for their schools. In addition, she helps design the practical steps of professional learning to bring each school closer to its vision. Earlier in her career, as a Judaic Studies teacher and school principal, she invested deeply in creating respectful and inclusive learning communities for all learners. Currently, across the NY Day School landscape, the questions of respect, gender and power are received differently in the variety of settings in which she supports educators; she wants to explore different approaches for these varied cultures. As an educator, Judith focuses on learning experiences that promote personal sense making, joyful learner engagement and critical thinking.
