Isaac Ostrow is a Program Coordinator at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, supporting Wellspring’s Professional Leadership Initiatives.

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Isaac moved to New York City in 2018 to attend the joint program between Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary, where he majored in Urban Studies and Jewish History.

After graduating in 2022, Isaac spent a year living and working as a madrich (counselor) for the Nativ College Leadership Program in Israel. Most recently, Isaac worked as a Student Life Associate at Columbia/Barnard Hillel. In the summer of 2024, Isaac spent several weeks studying at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem as part of a Hillel Professionals cohort. In his free time, you can find Isaac hanging out in Central Park, wandering around the MET, reading a good book, playing board games, and watching football or F1 racing.
