The Jewish Education Project

Hillary Gardenswartz is a member of Cohort II of the Created Equal Educators Fellowship of the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America and the Senior Project Manager of the Generation Now Fellowship at The Jewish Education Project. As part of the Generation Now team, Hillary gets to work with top Jewish professionals helping to reshape the teen landscape. Additionally, Hillary is privileged to support and collaborate with Jewish educators who work in all types of settings, including day schools, camps, congregations, and youth groups. Hillary holds Masters Degrees in both Jewish Education and in Talmud and Rabbinics from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Before joining The Jewish Education Project, Hillary spent many years in the classroom teaching high school Rabbinics and Judaic Studies, and as the Rabbinics department chair at Schechter Westchester (now The Leffell School). She resides in NYC and though she does not particularly like running, she loves to run the NYC marathon, which she has completed seven times.
