Danielle Pitkoff is a Program Manager at Sacred Spaces where she consults for Jewish institutions on how to prevent and respond to sexual abuse and other abuses of power. She is currently developing the Aleinu: Safeguarding Our Children campaign, an educational web-platform to standardize child safety practices across Jewish youth-serving organizations. As the former co-Director of Johns Hopkins University’s Sexual Assault Resource Unit, Danielle worked a 24/7 crisis hotline, facilitated university-wide trainings, led campaigns for Title IX policy reform, and ran weekly workshops supporting survivors. She was selected to be part of this year’s Jewish Week 36 Under 36 and hopes to continue her work to build resiliency by exploring community-level trauma and healing.
