Social Engagement Coordinator, Hevruta

Shira Cohen Beck is the coordinator of social engagement in the Hevruta program, and is responsible for the volunteering and internships of the students in the program.

She has a degree in interior architecture, has a bachelor’s degree in education from David Yelin College and is currently studying for a master’s degree in non-profit management at the Hebrew University. She leads projects in the field of education and community, initiated and founded kindergartens and the Keshet Telfz school, initiated and founded of the Tzofim tribe in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood, and has been volunteering ever since its establishment as the head of a tribe and accompanies the year of service communes.

A Jerusalemite at heart. Lives in the Armon Hanatziv neighborhood, together with her partner Itamar and her three children Rotem, Maayan and Inbar.
