Batya Ariel Cohen is the Chief of Staff to the CEO of the Shalom Hartman Institute and Head of the Mishmeret Alumni Network. For over a decade, she has held a range of educational and managerial roles in long-term programs for international students. In her most recent position, she served as Assistant Director of the “Kivunim” gap-year program.
Batya holds an MA in American Jewish Studies from the University of Haifa as part of the Ruderman Program, and a BA with honors in Jewish Thought and Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is also a graduate of the Ein Prat Israeli Academy for Leadership.
Born in Jerusalem, she currently lives with her partner and their four children in the community of Kfar Adumim.
