Amy Martasin is the Associate Vice President, Strategic Human Resources for Hillel International. Amy leads Hillel International’s field-facing Human Resources team and strategy, providing HR support and resources to Hillel professionals across North America addressing topics like Performance Management, Compensation, Employee Engagement and Safety, Respect and Equity. Prior to joining Hillel in May 2016, she spent 11 years working in HR for a large publicly traded Pawnshop chain, most recently as a Senior HR Business Partner, helping to create and implement HR Best Practices across 500+ stores in the US. Amy received a MA in Human Resource Management from St. Edwards University and a BS in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and holds both SHRM-CP and PHR certifications. She lives in Austin, TX with her husband, 2 children and goldendoodle Lola.
