Laura E. Adkins was a member of the inaugural cohort of the Hartman Seminar & Writers Workshop for Journalists and is an award-winning writer, editor, and speaker based in New York. She is the Opinion Editor of the Forward and an adjunct professor of journalism at Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women.
