Parvez Ahmed, a Fellow of the Shalom Hartman Muslim Leadership Initiative , will be teaching and studying at the Institute in Jerusalem in April and May 2017.
Ahmed, a former U.S. Fulbright Scholar, is an educator and social bridge builder. Besides his day job as professor of finance at the University of North Florida, he serves on local boards and commissions.
He has been a national leader on civil rights and is a regular lecturer and commentator on the American Muslim experience.
