Hartman Website Launches Homepage Video player

Shalom Hartman Institute website has launched a homepage video player that will feature a regularly changing video from the Institute`s vast library of lectures and presentations

The Shalom Hartman Institute website has launched a homepage video player that will feature a regularly changing video from the Institute’s vast library of lectures and presentations.

The videos date back to 2002 and are updated regularly. Contained in the list are lectures recorded by Institute Co-Directors David Hartman and Donniel Hartman , as well as leading Institute scholars such as Moshe Halbertal and Menachem Lorberbaum . In addition, guest lecturers such as Yossi Klein Halevi and Rabbi Michael Melchior are available in video format, as well.

"We are pleased to be able to make this rich video library available to our users directly on our homepage, as well as on the Digital Lectures section of our website," said Website Director Alan Abbey. "We have seen a great deal of interest in these videos since we launched our new site in January, and featuring one of them on the homepage will surely intrigue, educate and inform our website users even more easily."

To view the homepage video, just click on the arrow. Pause and stop are indicated by the traditional icons. To view the video from a full screen, use the right-side button of your mouse to access the media player’s full range of features.

We plan to change the videos on a regular basis, so please visit regularly for new items from Shalom Hartman Institute scholars and visiting lecturers.
