Understanding Israel’s Political and Cultural Divide Through Music (Session 2)

No art form is more beloved by Israelis than music. Hebrew music has always reflected the vagaries of Israeli life, drawing on contemporary and classical Hebrew poetry and biblical themes, and the Covid-19 crisis has produced a particularly rich musical response.

This two-part elective with Yossi Klein Halevi will explore the Israeli musical response to the pandemic.

Session one takes place on Mon, November 16
