In Yehuda Kurtzer‘s book, The New Jewish Canon, he offers a selection of contemporary Jewish sources that he believes could now be considered part of the Jewish canon. The book also provides commentary on each of these sources. In expanding the Jewish canon in this way, Kurtzer demonstrates that Jewish wisdom is a never-ending conversation.
Join this discussion between Yehuda Kurtzer and the Oshman Family JCC’s Zoe Fertik where they will showcase the Jewish canon as a living-breathing collection, and discuss the implications of the expanded canon for our evolving Jewish lives.
