Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a day to give back, help those in need, and contribute to Dr. King’s dream of a better world. The Shalom Hartman Institute is partnering with UJA Federation to provide a morning of meaningful online learning with leading scholars about Judaism, justice, and our role in pursuing a more equitable world.

Sessions include discussions of communal responsibility, Dr. King’s powerful writing as seen through the lenses of Jewish text and thought, how we can comfort the ill, bereaved, and socially isolated right now, and racial disparities in the healthcare system.
