The global Jewish community has faced significant challenges and shifts over the past year including the COVID pandemic, deep economic recession, the 2020 U.S. election, the Abraham Accords, increased polarization, rising antisemitism, and challenges to Jewish institutions. The Shalom Hartman Institute and the The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington are committed to exploring the impact of these critical developments on Jewish identity, Jewish civic engagement, Jewish peoplehood, and collective healing.
