Maslul Yisrael is a partnership between the Ramah Camping Movement and the Shalom Hartman Institute.
This fellowship brought together 18 talented returning Ramah staff for a week of learning in May 2022 at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem. They studied with Hartman faculty using Jewish text, values, and ideas to explore how Israel fits into their North American Jewish identities, and to develop a set of tools and frameworks to foster substantive and compelling educational experiences about Israel in camp.
As part of their fellowship, participants are expected to create and execute a meaningful Israel education program at camp this summer.
