The first group of Reform Congregations participating in the Shalom Hartman Institute-Union for Reform Judaism Israel Engagement Initiative has been announced. A total of 19 congregations across the US and Canada are participating. The program was announced at the URJ Biennial in San Diego in December 2013. The iEngage Project curriculum is now in use by hundreds of synagogues, community centers, and organizations.
