Shalom Hartman Institute of North America provides a wide range of thought-provoking text-based study programs and seminars for Jewish lay leaders of all denominations and ages across North America and in Israel.

The programs strengthen and expand the intellectual horizons of community leaders, enabling them to respond more meaningfully to the contemporary issues and challenges facing Jewish life.

SHI North America also develops study curricula and web-based resources for lay leadership. New programs are being established for community leaders across North America that complement the long-running summer retreat in Jerusalem at the Institute's main campus.
