Purim Reversals
1. Reversals are part of Torah learning: afoch ba v afoch ba - that is not a hidush of Esther 2. "If we had in our possession the Tanakh without the Megillah, we would know God only in every place and situation where God can be directly named." Tanach abounds with situations when G-D could not be directly named: Yaakov night fight, Yosef searching for his brothers and meeting ish(Gabriel), Yehoshua asking loyalty from an angel, birth of Shimshon, Avraham`s guests. In all these cases there was no direct naming signifying a different type of revelation. 3. The fact that G-D rules evil is also known from the book of Job and Dvarim - this is not a hidush of Esther. I think the hidush of Esther and Mordechai is that they found G-D of randomness, and it is true, He can`t be named.
