Shlomo Naeh has a doctorate in Talmud and Hebrew language from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and pursued post-doctoral studies at Oxford University in ancient Syriac literature. Shlomo teaches in the departments of Talmud and Jewish thought at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is a member of the Academy of Hebrew Language. His current research focuses on Talmudic and Midrashic literature, as well as on rabbinic-Talmudic culture and thought.
